The current epidemic of stress, burnout and anxiety is having a mass impact on our health, mental health and wellbeing. This 6 week yoga programme was specifically designed to guide you into a deeper state of connection and self-awareness. When we are in a deeper state of awareness, we can learn how to quieten the noise and listen to the intelligence of our bodies. The 6 week programme placed a heavy focus on nervous system regulation and calming a busy mind. Carla works with people who have been diagnosed with ADHD and other conditions which flare up with stress and anxiety. "Managing stress is key to having a regulated nervous system and feeling safe and content in our bodies". In this 6 week programme you'll be guided through a mix of 'Vinyasa Flow', 'Mellow + Mindful' and 'Yin Yoga' practices that will focus on: - Targeting specific areas of the body - Creating space in the body - Stretching and strengthening - Challenging your capabilities - Somatic awareness Each week you can expect breathwork (pranayama) for calming the nervous system and bringing balance, guided self-acupressure and meditation/relaxation.
